Leading Across Multidimensional Perspectives  (LAMP) Survey

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) has launched a new national initiative focused on building a culture of belonging in nursing schools. Cizik School of Nursing was selected as one of the sites to take part in the Leading Across Multidimensional Perspectives (LAMP©) Culture and Climate Survey. This survey will help the school to better assess the experiences of racially diverse nursing students and identify practices that facilitate student success.

Celebrating Diverse Cultures

The faculty, staff, and students of Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston live, work, and learn in one of the nation’s most diverse regions. Our DEI Council sponsors a variety of activities to help us learn about and from one another. We enjoy honoring cultural traditions, from Diwali to Día de los Muertos, and from Black History Month to Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month.
