Hanneman & former international student co-author on mechanical ventilation

(Aug. 8, 2016) – UTHealth School of Nursing’s Sandra K. Hanneman, Ph.D., R.N., FAAN, the Jerold B. Katz Distinguished Professor for Nursing Research and a professor in the Department of Acute and Continuing Care, coauthored the following recent article,

The first author – Yupha Wongrostrai, Ph.D., R.N. – spent two semesters as an international student at UTHealth, working with Hanneman to develop the research project that later served as her dissertation. Hanneman served as a major advisor and a member of the dissertation committee.

Wongrostrai now is on the Kuakarun Faculty of Nursing, Navamindradhiraj University in Bangkok, Thailand.
