Casarez examines helpfulness of mHealth tool in Journal of Affective Disorders

The authors found that mobile health technology (mHealth) may be a feasible, available, and cost-effective support tool for spouses and partners of individuals with bipolar disorder, especially in reducing caregiver stress.

Co-authors Jair C. Soares, MD, PhD, and Thomas D. Meyer, PhD, are faculty members of McGovern Medical School, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. Soares also is the executive director of Harris County Psychiatric Center (HCPC).
