Linda H Sheen, PhD, MSN, RN, FNP-BC
Dr. Sheen is an Assistant Professor at UTHealth School of Nursing. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and her Master's and Ph.D. at UTHealth School of Nursing. Her dissertation focused on health beliefs and practices in Vietnamese Americans with diabetes. Prior to obtaining her master's degree, Dr. Sheen practiced as a pediatric nurse in the critical care setting. Since 2013, Dr. Sheen has been practicing as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in both pediatrics and family health settings. Dr. Sheen's research interest include exploring Eastern complementary and alternative therapies, and Asian American health practices and disparities.
