Dr. Arnaud attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After practicing emergency and critical care nursing for several years, he earned a Master of Science degree in nurse anesthesia from Baylor College of Medicine and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at UTHealth Houston. Dr. Arnaud has been actively involved in nurse anesthesia education and practice for 20 years.
Dr. Arnaud has educational interests in pharmacology, utilizing simulation modalities to improve clinical knowledge, technical and nontechnical skill proficiency, and developing curriculum and measurement approaches for nurse anesthesia education. His clinical interests include cardiovascular and thoracic anesthesia and anesthesia delivery system technology.
