Myron H Arnaud, DNP, CRNA
Dr. Arnaud is the Director of the Nurse Anesthesia Division at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston School of Nursing, where he holds an academic rank of assistant professor of clinical nursing. He practices clinically as a staff nurse anesthetist in the Department of Anesthesiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, Texas, where he enjoys providing clinical anesthesia to a diverse patient population and for various surgical disciplines at the Harris Health Lyndon Baines Johnson General Hospital in Houston.
A native of Louisiana, Dr. Arnaud attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After practicing emergency and critical care nursing for several years, he obtained his graduate education in nurse anesthesia from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and his Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Nursing in Houston. Dr. Arnaud has been actively involved in nurse anesthesia education and practice for over 13 years.
Dr. Arnaud has special educational interest in utilizing simulation modalities to improve technical and nontechnical skill proficiency. His clinical interests include pharmacology, thoracic anesthesia, and anesthesia delivery system technology.
