Cindy Young, MSN, RN, is an instructor of Clinical Nursing in Department of Undergraduate Studies at Cizik School of Nursing at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

Ms. Young received both her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and Her Masters of Science in Nursing from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette where she was an instructor before joining the faculty of Cizik School of Nursing.

Ms. Young is a member of state and national professional organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau and National League for Nursing. Her clinical background is mainly cardiac medical surgery and she has enjoyed working assignments as a travel nurse between teaching semesters.
