Susan M Krawtz, MSN, RN
Krawtz is the program director and instructor for the RN-BSN program. She has over 35 years of clinical, leadership and management experience in nursing. Her leadership and management experience includes providing strategic leadership for Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital and the Memorial Hermann Hospital - TMC, including all aspects of clinical operations, nursing practice, professional development, customer service, finance, human resources and quality outcome management. Her clinical experience is in both adult and pediatric transplant and intensive care. She has held leadership roles since 1984 in both pediatric and adult settings at academic medical center institutions.
Krawtz was employed at Memorial Hermann from 1982 until 2007 when she retired after 25 years of service. She joined the UTHealth School of Nursing in 2008.
She earned her MSN in Nursing Administration from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1992 and her BSN at Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa.
