Dr. Hsiao-Hui “Joyce” Ju is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing in the Undergraduate Department at Cizik School of Nursing. She is currently teaching several courses in the Pacesetter BSN program.

Dr. Ju was recognized as a Silver Medalist for her excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service by the Good Samaritan Foundation in 2021. The award was selected by a distinguished selection committee and presented in recognition of exemplifying excellence in the nursing profession.

Her research centers on endocrine disorders, with a particular interest in using innovative technology platforms to optimize patient- and family-centered behavioral interventions and improve chronic disease health outcomes. Ju has published in peer-reviewed journals, clinical practice guidelines, and book chapters on topics related to endocrine and rheumatology disorders.

Dr. Ju received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Texas Woman’s University, then earned a Master of Science in Nursing, completed a post-graduate program in nursing education, and received a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Cizik School of Nursing. Since 2013, she has been practicing as a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner.
