Dr. Bello is Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Blinn College, Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Arlington, and earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She is one of the first three students to graduate from the BSN-DNP program at Cizik School of Nursing.

Dr. Bello is an assistant professor in the graduate department at Cizik School of Nursing. She teaches both graduate and undergraduate level nursing courses. She is enthusiastic about psychiatry and teaching, and has an extensive background in psychiatric nursing.

She graduated as a member of the Alpha Delta Nu Honor Society at Blinn College. She is serving as the education co-chair of the Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of Texas. Dr. Bello is a member of multiple professional organizations like Texas Nurse Practitioners, Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses of Houston, American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.
