Ansley Grimes Stanfill, PhD, RN, FAAN, is the Jane and Robert Cizik Distinguished Chair, Associate Dean of Research, and Chair of the Department of Research at the Cizik School of Nursing at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth Houston). She has served as Principal Investigator (PI) for more than 17 grants from the National Institutes of Health, the Department of Defense, and many other professional organizations and foundations for her work investigating clinical, social, and multi-omic factors related to long-term outcomes following aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage (a form of stroke) and traumatic brain injury. She has been published many times in basic science and nursing research journals and regularly presents her work at local, regional, national, and international conferences.
