Dr. Christopher Rodriguez attended Concordia College New York, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. After practicing inpatient bone marrow transplant, leukemia, lymphoma, head and neck, melanoma, and sarcoma nursing for several years at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, he earned both his Master of Science focusing in the adult gerontology acute care nurse practitioner population and a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at NYU Rory Meyer’s College of Nursing.
Currently, as an advanced practice registered nurse in the Emergency Department at MD Anderson Cancer Center and as an assistant professor, he works to create an inclusive, student focused learning environment. Dr. Rodriguez's teaching philosophy is anchored in respecting and embracing all learners.
