Linda Sheen, PhD, MSN, RN, FNP-BC, is an Assistant Professor at Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston. She received her Bachelor's degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, and her Master's and Ph.D. at Cizik School of Nursing. Her dissertation focused on health beliefs and practices in Vietnamese Americans with diabetes. Prior to obtaining her master's degree, Dr. Sheen practiced as a pediatric nurse in the critical care setting. Since 2013, Dr. Sheen has been practicing as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner in both pediatrics and family health settings.
