Dr. Linda Sheen is an Assistant Professor at UTHealth Houston Cizik School of Nursing. She currently serves as the Junior Level Coordinator for the Undergraduate nursing program. She brings over 15 years of clinical experience across the lifespan, from pediatrics to adult care. She teaches across the undergraduate nursing curriculum through didactic, clinical and simulation-based learning. She integrates her clinical expertise and research into her teachings, preparing students to provide compassionate, culturally competent, and innovative care. She also maintains clinical practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the pediatric care setting.

Clinical/Research Focus
Dr. Sheen’s research focuses on Asian American health disparities and health practices, and curriculum development and implementation. Her clinical expertise is in pediatric critical care, and adult and pediatric primary and urgent care.
