Event Description
Speaker: Ms. Cheryl L. Mee, MSN, MBA, RN, FAAN, Executive Editorial Director for the American Nurse Journal.
Open to faculty, staff, students, and nurses in the community.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify manuscript requirements necessary for successful journal submission.
- Describe the peer review process and common reasons manuscripts are delayed, revised, or rejected.
- Develop a plan to revise and improve manuscripts using editorial and peer feedback.
This event will provide 1.0 contact hour of nursing professional development. Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
