News from Cizik School of Nursing

Elizabeth Cantu Adamson, DNP, RN, was the first Cizik School of Nursing student to receive a DNP degree with a specialization in informatics.

Instructor Candice Triulzi, MSN, RNC-NIC, helped give a group of BSN students a leg up on their residency applications by offering a Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification class in Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth's newly expanded Simulation and Clinical Performance Laboratory.

Maja Djukic, PhD, RN, FAAN, has been named the John P. McGovern Distinguished Professor in Nursing at the Cizik School of Nursing of UTHealth. She is an associate professor in the Department of Research.

Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Assistant Professor Allison Edwards, DrPH, MS, RN, CNE, has been inducted into the University of Texas Medical Branch Hall of Fame and elected vice president of the Texas Board of Nursing.
