NIH funds Santa Maria’s project on HIV prevention among youth experiencing homelessness for $3 million
Jan 23, 2019The National Institute of Nursing Research of the NIH will support a new five-year research project by Dr. Diane M. Santa Maria (pictured), interim dean of Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth, with a new grant (R01NR017837) totaling more than $3 million titled, “Come As You Are – Assessing the Efficacy of a Nurse Case Management HIV Prevention and Care Intervention among Homeless Youth.”
