Dr. Janice Lee is the Director of the Emergency/Trauma Nurse Practitioner Program and an Assistant Professor at UTHealth Houston Cizik School of Nursing. She has more than 12 years of experience as a nurse practitioner and 6 years as a critical care nurse, with extensive practice in the emergency departments of one of the nation’s busiest Level I trauma centers and a Level III trauma center. Dr. Lee previously served as Assistant Director for Advanced Practice Providers in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UTHealth McGovern Medical School for nearly a decade. Her academic and clinical leadership focuses on advancing emergency and trauma nurse practitioner education through innovative simulation, ultrasound training, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
