Dr. Janice Lee is the Director of the Emergency Nurse Practitioner Program and an Assistant Professor at UTHealth Houston Cizik School of Nursing. She has more than 12 years of experience as a nurse practitioner and 6 years as a critical care nurse, with extensive practice in the emergency departments of one of the nation’s busiest Level I trauma centers and a Level III trauma center. Dr. Lee previously served as Assistant Director for Advanced Practice Providers in the Department of Emergency Medicine at UTHealth McGovern Medical School for nearly a decade. Her academic and clinical leadership focuses on advancing emergency and trauma nurse practitioner education through innovative simulation, ultrasound training, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
