Yatsu Chair in Neurology and director of the Institute for Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease at UTHealth Houston; and Charles Green, PhD, Department of Pediatrics and the Center for Clinical Research and Evidence Based Medicine at UTHealth Houston.
• Funding: $62,667 from the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology Foundation
• Overview: This study tests the effectiveness of a new pain assessment technology with stroke survivors. The study lays the foundation for developing an objective pain measurement tool for people who can’t communicate how they feel. Learn more.
