About Our Ceremonies
We celebrate our graduates’ accomplishments three times each year. Family and friends may attend in person or watch the ceremonies via livestream. Students will receive a link for virtual viewing prior to the event that they may share. Please note that loud noisemakers, including air horns, and helium balloons are not allowed at our ceremonies.
Only official regalia may be worn at commencement ceremonies, including cords, sashes, stoles, etc. distributed with the approval of your UTHealth Houston school. No other items are permitted to be worn or carried. Decorations or alterations of regalia are not permitted.
Spring Commencement
Students who graduated from all programs during the most recent Summer, Fall, and Spring semesters are eligible to participate in our annual commencement ceremony. Tickets are required for all guests over age 2. Graduating students will receive an email prior to the event with details on ticketing, parking, etc.
Summer and Fall Pinning Ceremonies
Undergraduate students completing their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree in the Summer and Fall semesters celebrate at ceremonies in which they receive nursing pins. Both Pacesetter and RN to BSN students may participate and will receive an email with details prior to the event.
