Exploring static subsyndromes and dynamic symptom clusters of behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia using Bayesian Network Analysis

  • Research team: Mustafa Yildiz PhD, Principal Investigator, Carolyn Pickering, Ph.D., RN, Co-Investigator.
  • Overview: This project is designed to discover dependencies among behavioral and psychological symptoms of dementia (BPSD).  The outcomes of the study will be directed acyclic graphs (DAGs) that will identify the parent and child nodes of BPSDs. In an earlier study, we distinguished between subsyndromes and symptom clusters of BPSDs. This study will focus on both BPSD types.
