High School to Nursing Education Pipeline (HSNEP) Program: Improving Economic Mobility and the Nursing Shortage in Houston

- Overview: This nursing pipeline program will evaluate the impact of immersive summer camps and monthly virtual mentoring sessions with practicing nurses on nursing education and career readiness and matriculation into the Pre-Nursing Pathway at Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston for students from disadvantaged backgrounds attending Houston-area high schools.
