Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston community health nursing students were on high alert recently for a daylong “SAFER” simulation jam packed emergency response scenarios. The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students practiced physical and psychological first aid, CPR/AED skills, mass casualty search and triage, and active shooter response.
