Erica Yu, PhD, RN, FNAP, associate dean for undergraduate studies at Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston received a grant from the Trellis Foundation in collaboration with UpSkill America at the Aspen Institute for her project “Developing a Work-Based Clinical Model to Streamline Success in Nursing.”

Higinio Fernández-Sánchez, PhD, RN, FAAN, is using grant funds from three fellowships to learn from people who have lived with HIV 10 years or more and those who were born with the virus in his study “Embodied Narratives and Patient-Reported Outcomes in Long-Term and Lifetime HIV Survivors: A Mixed-Methods Body Mapping Study.”

Joyce Ju, DNP, FNP-BC, CNE, received a grant from The University of Texas Kenneth I. Shine, MD, Academy of Health Science Education for her project “Closing the Gap in Medication Safety: Gamified Case-Based Learning for Dosage and Calculation Competency.”

Nitha Mathew Joseph, PhD, RN, CNE, CGNC, FNAP, received a grant from the Zeta Pi Chapter of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing for her project “Influence of Interpersonal and Digital Information on Physical Activity Engagement Decisions Among South Asian Women.”
