Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston enables students who have a master’s degree in nursing leadership, nursing education, or other healthcare-related field or a Master of Science degree as a nurse practitioner (NP), clinical nurse specialist (CNS), or nurse anesthetist to complete the additional coursework necessary to earn a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. You will gain in-depth knowledge of evidence-based practice, translational science, leadership in healthcare organizations, and more.
