Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner

Prepare to become a health care provider for adolescents and adults experiencing complex illnesses through the specialized Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) track of our BSN to DNP degree option.

Family Nurse Practitioner

Learn how you can prepare for a career caring for patients across the lifespan in outpatient settings with our Family Nurse Practitioner track.

Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

The Psychiatric/Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) track of our DNP program will prepare you to care for individuals and families on an outpatient or inpatient basis.

Note: New student admissions to the BSN to DNP Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner track are on hold effective for the Fall 2023 semester.

Affordable and Accessible BSN to DNP Option

Cizik School of Nursing offers one of the most affordable BSN to DNP options in Texas along with academic and need-based scholarships to help with tuition and education costs.

Financial support for nurse practitioner students

Cizik School of Nursing awards 25 traineeships annually to students on the family nurse practitioner, psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner, and adult/gerontology primary care tracks who are interested in working in rural or urban underserved areas.
