
Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston enables students with a practiced-focused Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree as a nurse practitioner (NP), clinical nurse specialist (CNS), or nurse anesthetist to complete the additional coursework necessary to earn a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree.
If you hold an MSN and certification as an NP, CNS, or nurse anesthetist, you can complete the core coursework required to obtain a DNP degree at Cizik School of Nursing at UTHealth Houston. You will gain in-depth knowledge of evidence-based practice, translational science, nursing informatics, and more.
