All students must successfully clear drug screening tests before enrollment. Cizik School of Nursing has contracted Surscan perform to these required tests. Surscan charges approximately $50.00* (plus applicable taxes) for testing.
You may start the drug screening process on or after the following dates:
- Fall term – June 1
- Spring term – Oct 1
- Summer term – March 1
Cizik School of Nursing should receive your drug screening report at least 30 days before classes start, so please order your test early to allow time for processing and review.
Steps for ordering your drug screening test
- Step 1: Go to the Surscan website.
- Step 2: Click “Register” at the top right of the page. In the “Enter the client code” field, enter UTHSC.
- Step 3: Provide all information requested as it applies to the student. If a person other than the student is paying the fee, that information should be listed in the billing section at the end of the registration process.
- Step 4: Complete the online payment.
- Step 5: You will be contacted by Surscan to schedule an appointment.
- Step 6: Results will be automatically delivered to Cizik School of Nursing.
